Asher T Deluxe comes home

I’ve been working with Bill Asher (Asher Guitars.com)
for about a year now and its been a great experience!

The guitar features an ash body and birds-eye maple neck. It has a tiny bit
of “relic-ing” but nothing too drastic!

This T Deluxe model is super lite and has tone for days!
The only adjustment was I wanted a little bit taken off the neck to make it slightly slimmer!

A final check of the electronics and we’re ready for action!

I had a opportunity to record a track with Bill Caruthers last week in Santa Barbara. Awesome little studio right on the edge of town (technically Goleta) -
I brought my new (well not really new – got it in December of last year but since this is the first official session, it counts as new!) Asher lap steel guitar.

This guitar sports a “G” and “B” string bender AND Seymour Duncan pickups. We also used a Orange Amp (Tiny Terror) and the combination sounded great.

Bill has this great band called Cafe R&B – check them out if you have a chance!

I recorded a new video for Seymour Duncan – this one features the “Seth Lover” humbucker replacement pickups and has some cool guitar tones!

I used the Carr Rambler amp only and no pedals.

A big Howdy to all! We have a cool show coming up Saturday April 20th at Hanger in Manhattan Beach.

The band will perform new, old , some new, some old, original, covers – OKAY we’re going play some music!

Here’s where you can catch the band if your attending the 2013 NAMM show in Anaheim, CA -

Thursday Jan 24 – 4pm at the Seymour Duncan Booth with the JHB band

Saturday Jan 26 – 1pm in the center open courtyard with the Shari Puorto Band

Just confirmed that we will be playing at the NAMM show thursday Jan 24th 4pm for Seymour Duncan. More info. as we get closer as far as what location. Check back!

The NAMM show is a industry only event of the season where new products are unveiled for the new year.
