Road trip update…

Austin, Memphis, Wash DC & Philly – WHEW!

A big thanks to all who came out to the Philly show on March 2, 2012 – it ended up being one heck of a party! I saw some friends that I’ve known since childhood and haven’t seen them since – it was great!

The house rocked with acoustic slide and songs from my two CD’s and I also played a new song “Help me baby” which will be on the up coming CD.  I opened up with my version of “In my time of dying”  then into all the favorites from the CD’s.  A special thanks to my buddy Rick Smith who joined me on guitar for “Still in love” and Walden’s Pond” – (Rick and I have known each other since our teens and were in our first band together).

Sorry about the blurry picture!  I’m hoping to get more pics and possible video from some of the folks who attended!  I used my Martin OOO acoustic with the Seymour
Duncan Mag pickup in the sound hole.  The sound was warm with just the right amount of bass.

In addition to playing Philly I also did a couple of performances with Quenby at The Folk Alliance Festival in Memphis the week before which was great!  Check out the a stream of one of our performances:

Thanks to all who came out and supported!  Rock on!
