I had a opportunity to record a track with Bill Caruthers last week in Santa Barbara. Awesome little studio right on the edge of town (technically Goleta) –
I brought my new (well not really new – got it in December of last year but since this is the first official session, it counts as new!) Asher lap steel guitar.

This guitar sports a “G” and “B” string bender AND Seymour Duncan pickups.  We also used a Orange Amp (Tiny Terror)  and the combination sounded great.
